Extreme Cello London Marathon - 22 April 2012

On 22 April 2012, the Extreme Cellists will be aiming to run the London Marathon carrying their cellos: that's 26.2 miles with over 6kg (around a stone) of extra weight.

The aim is to raise £10,000 for the spinal cord injury charity Aspire. Aspire is a charity that helps rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injuries, and has a long history of partnership with Extreme Cello (click here to see details of the Extreme Cello visit to Aspire in 2007, or here to read more about Aspire generally).

Please do sponsor the Extreme Cellists and support this great cause. The easiest way to do this is by clicking here or on the widget to the left; otherwise please email the Cellists to find the best way to make your donation.

We also welcome corporate sponsorship: if your organisation would be interested in this, and discovering the benefits of sponsoring the Extreme Cellists, please email us. We would like to thank our corporate sponsors to date: Cardiff Violins, and Aitchison & Mnatzaganian.

Training is well under way, and we are feeling the pressure! You can follow our progress by joining us on Facebook or Twitter.
